Life Chinese Christian Fellowship (Life fellowship) began at Johns Hopkins Medical Institue at 1998 as a family of Christian graduate students who come together to share faiths and lives in the name of Jesus Christ. We share a common goal: to know God and to reach out and care for those around us. We developed a culture comfortable environment for brothers and sisters to study Bible and discuss the impact of faith on our lives. We focus on helping in any areas of spiritual need as well as support and encouragement for academic activities. Life fellowship welcomes everyone who is interested in knowing more about Christianity.
Our activities include: (1) fellowship on every Friday evening for worship, Bible study, sharing and prayer (2) attending worship in local churches on Sunday (3) weekly Asian supermarket shopping (4) help new students and scholars to adapt new environment (5) special events on holidays such as mid autumn festival, Christmas, New Year celebration (6) outdoor activities: BBQ, cherry blossom, retreat in Lancaster County … etc. We strive to help each other understand God and his ways in our lives through the study of his Word and encouraging each other through sharing and fellowship. We hope to share the fellowship resource with the students and scholars at Johns Hopkins.
